Using AI to Strengthen Critical Infrastructure Security

As critical infrastructure systems become increasingly interconnected and complex, ensuring their security has never been more important. From power grids and transportation networks to water systems and telecommunications, these foundational systems face rising threats from cyberattacks, physical disruptions, and emerging vulnerabilities. Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers transformative potential to address these challenges, enabling proactive, adaptive, and scalable security measures. The role of AI in strengthening critical infrastructure security by harnessing advanced techniques such as machine learning, anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and automated threat response. By learning from vast datasets and evolving in real-time, AI can detect and mitigate threats faster than traditional methods, reduce human error, and enhance system resilience.
